XQuery is a fully functional language and a good starting point for learning it is the W3C XQuery homepage; we found this tutorial (referenced there) particularly useful. Note that when entering a XQuery query, namespaces must be considered.
When entering a XPath query, simple wildcards *, ?, [a-z] are allowed. Note that namespaces must be considered.
